Airplot! campaign

Dear Mr Walker

Thank you for contacting me about Greenpeace’s ‘Airplot!’ campaign. May I begin by saying that I completely sympathise with your support of this campaign on such an important issue. As I am sure you are aware, the Conservative Party has consistently opposed the Government’s plans to expand Heathrow airport.

As an MP, I believe the best way I can prevent further expansion at Heathrow is to oppose the Government’s plans in Parliament. Whilst I will not be joining the campaign as a beneficial owner of the Sipson plot, my Party and I will continue to fight the Government every step of the way on this hugely important issue. You can rest assured that, if Conservatives win the next general election, there will be no third runway at Heathrow.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to contact me.

Yours sincerely

James Duddridge MP
