  1. Housekeeping:
    • Apologies for absence:

    • Minutes of last meeting:
      Accepted
      Matters Arising:
      MWi went collecting signatures re Dengie turbines.

  2. Campaign Updates:
    • SAEN:
      Still waiting for court decision on JR
    • Camp Bling:
      Tree Fella were on site yesterday, felling trees and shrubs. DW shared the photos he took of this happening with the group and will follow up with SBC as to why this was being done.
    • MD’s visit to Duddridge:
      MD visited James Duddridge on 26th November. Discussed Climate Change, Energy Security bill, biofuels, transferring APD onto aircraft and freight and Local Carbon Budgets. Duddridge thought a 40% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2020 was unrealistic. MD felt that a few positive things came from the meeting.
    • Essex Waste Consultation:
      SEEFoE has submitted a response to the Essex Waste Consultation written jointly with the Saffron Walden and Colchester local groups. The response will be available on the SEEFoE website in due course.
    • Nuclear Consultation:
      MWi has drafted a response to new nuclear at Bradwell on behalf of SEEFoE.
