  2. Campaigning Options:
The group considered the options for the first 6 months of the year and agreed it was stretched with work on SAEN and the wind farm. The group agreed to add work on the forthcoming Energy Bill to its list of activities and so DW will order the relevant materials from FoE HQ.

    • Marinet:
MWo intends to read the material on overfishing and will visit Leigh fishermen and report back on what transpires.
    • We Want a Wind Farm:
DW has written to the planning inspectorate in favour of the wind farm and intends to attend the planning appeal hearing in Maldon on 8 March.
    • Essex Flood Forum:
DW reported that he would be undertaking some work with Brian Efde of the Essex Flood Forum. He would be going to Parliament on 8 February to lobby on behalf of those who can no longer get insurance against flooding on their homes.
